every day they disappear

Each day a thread on here gets quite heated and interesting (as in, you can get a good idea of people by what they are writing)then, they vanish 
I can understand if they are really nasty or illegal but can't they be left?

It depends on a few things as to why they may be taken off and I can't comment on why today as my fingers have been nowhere near a delete thread button, but I am sure the mod who did had a good reason.
You can ask Admin from the Contact button to review as they can get threads back if needed  |

I think I know the one you're talking about and I saw it coming or maybe you're talking about something different.
Either way, some people get very personal. Sometimes, it's not a biggy and sometimes a mod may think it's gone too far.
I think when a contributor makes an official complaint, it's time to call it a day. In the thread I'm thinking of, both parties were as bad as each other. IMHO |

My fingers have been near the Delete Thread button...
The one thread removed today was because there were too many bitchy/inappropriate posts. Once all those posts were removed the rest of the thread made very little sense and a fair few of those remaining posters could have ended up with a ban if the posts were taken out of context.
If you exclude the really nasty and the illegal (and the ones that blatently break site rules) then we actually remove very few threads each day. |
