How long have you been single?
Overheard a conversation today where a woman was wishing her 26 year old brother would hurry and find a girlfriend as he has been single 2 years...
I've been single 3 1/2 now, god knows what people think of me  |

4 and a bit years for me...mostly by choice and mostly because I won't settle for just anyone for the sake of not being single....I really don't care what others think to be fair....I've a lot to give I know I'm not ugly but I will not settle for just anyone  |

I was single for 8 years after I split from my daughters dad, I didn't have the energy or inclination to get involved with anyone. Discovered sites like this when she was 10ish and haven't looked back. D  |

I've been single about 8 years. Did have a much regretted affair with someone for three years during this time though and learnt my lesson the hard way The thing I miss the most is the cwtches and affection but you get used to it. |

About 7 yrs and not bothered about it much though miss a cuddle now and again as lonely sometimes especially as last child almost flown the nest so to speak |

Nearly a year and what a year its been
Much prefer my single life no one to answer to or be questioned by . Have to say enjoying being single and in no rush to either look or think about a relationship. Life is good |

Omg I can't remember... Not lived with some one in 5 years lol but been truly single for 2 years now .
Will stay that way too... As I'm a parent and will not even consider having a new relationship while my kids are at home x |

Yep, the truth. The fact of the matter is that being in a relationship is not down to deciding to be in one!

God people shoukd mind their own business. I broke up with my ex about 4 and a half years ago. Since him I have had one fwb for 2 years which ended a couple years back and another since june. I have no intention of having a relationship and get sick of people telling me I need one.
