Well im in coventry away from home and no ones been talking to me...got me thinking wheres that phrase originate from and anyone know the reason behind it...off for bath will b back later  |

Apparently it has been traced back far enough to suggest it was from the civil war in 1640s. Royalist soldiers were captured in Brum and taken to Coventry to be ostracised by the pro-Parliamentarian population. |
