Weekly bath? Check you Mr Fancypants! I'm not due for mine for at least another two weeks. |

"I've put on another layer of deodorant and I'll change my knickers in the morning.
That'll do!
crystal (AKA crustal)
Save water and all that "
When I leave it long enough, the dirt can be peeled off |

Me. In three inches of lukewarm water with half a cap of dettol added. Then it's off downstairs to sit in front of a two bar electric fire, dripping wet and freezing cold whilst my dad insists that it's warmer standing up and mum whining about us blocking the heat.
Into clean pants and vest (to stay on until next Sunday) and then dad holding us down to attempt to cut the toenails of his three squealing daughters, while my brother hid upstairs in the box room.
We were then told we could not have cake until we've eaten some bread and butter, which was all washed down by tea. |

Aah, Dettol. And wire brushes, but that was years later. |

Blimey we must have been siblings, we had Dettol in our water too, or Fairy for bubbles, then down stairs for my mum to try and detangle our hair before fried bread and brown sauce for supper |

I forgot about the fairy for bubbles! My youngest sister eventually got Matey and I coveted that stuff until I had children of my own. |

Yep. Mum bought one of those pink shower hoses that went over the taps but we wasted all the hot water that way. All half a tank of it for four children. Sharing wasn't an option as the fights that ensued drove her insane. |
