Just been thinking about a business idea and just would like to know your thoughts.
It's a website design(ish) company.
Client picks wordpress template from themeforest, gives me words and their logo and I set it all up for them
They pay for everything (tempate, hosting, domain name) and then when everything's done, they donate what they think is a reasonable donation
It's basically an installation business. |

I had a similar idea, I somehow doubt the 'reasonable' donation will be worth your while though. Good idea but maybe have a fixed price for the installation. |

Plenty of people will do what you are proposing for $5 so if this were Dragons Den I would be saying "I will not be investing in your business'
I've been doing HTML stuff since before there were tools to bang this shite out... Back then you could charge upwards of £1000 per page.
Today it's £2.30 and a packet of Polo Mints per webshite..... No money in it...

It's a fantastic program for graphic design and can produce great webshites too....templates if you wish but IMHO it's better to be creative rather than spit out cookie-cutter stuff |

So how about charging £200 per site then subbing the work out to fiverr....
I have used similar sites to great effect....
