Did any of you get a massive amount of spots on your face when you were pregnant?

luckily not. It will just be the surge in hormones xx

If they get bad, see your GP or NP and ask for Fucidin, its an antibiotic cream and works well and better than taking antibiotics orally x

Or use a tea tree face wash as it's anti bacterial so it's gentle on your skin til your hormones settle

Or tea tree oil. Still let GP/ midwife know as it can be a sign of other issues eg high blood pressure or gestational diabetes or liver problems

Other than that enjoy being pregnant and good luck

coconut oil may work well for you. it's anti bacterial but also anti inflammatory. you can get it on amazon. out just needs to be the raw unprocessed organic one to be effective. the brand i use is called biona.

I had bad spots on my upper arms with #1 (daughter), a few on bum cheeks and thighs with #2 (son) and so far with this one #3 (we not 100% sure of sex) I've had lots on the side of my forehead and on chin. Haven't found anything that helps as yet, altho at 27 weeks it seems to be subsiding for now

So glad someone mentioned lush- natural fresh ingredients. Your increase in hormones has put your skin into over drive. Treat yourself & your skin to natural health treats. Please don't strip your skin with clearasil- harsh chemicals that actually make your skin produce more oils. I know I sound like a hippy! But naturally coping with symptoms is your best plan. You need to check before using any aromatherapy oils (tea tree, etc) as a lot aren't recommended for use during pregnancy.

"Did any of you get a massive amount of spots on your face when you were pregnant?"

My skin wasn't great during my pregnancy but it was after I had given birth that it got really bad. I came out in acne which really got me down.

It will still flare up every now and again.

Was always jealous of the mums that glowed during pregnancy while I looked and felt terrible.

Tea tree oil is fantastic for zapping spots. Dab it on neat with a cotton bud.
