I am wrapped up and got my securing lines so i dont blow awayyyyyy. I would not ask any ladies to drop their knickers in this wind.. who knows where they will next land

Might be an interesting day for plane watching cos if it's as windy there as it is here they'll be coming in sideways lol

Use your time more constructively - take the train a few stops to Heathrow Terminal 5 and go to Kestrel Hydro instead!

Get yourself up to Bruntingthorpe in May for Rolling Thunder. Nothing actually takes off (on purpose but the Victor accidentally got wheels up a couple of years ago), it's just cold war jets doing full afterburner runs down the runway.

Failing that the museum is open every Sunday and only a fiver for adults. You can talk to the maintenance crews, sit in cockpits and get up close and personal with the aircraft.

well ive been through all my plans for the day,and if it wasnt so windy i would have gone to north weald airfield for the saturday market, the biggest saturday market in the uk.buy some goodies ,a burger and a tea then sit by the runway watching the planes taking off and landing.was a wartime airfield now more for private planes, but interesting.just of the m11.

Ohh i bet. Luton looks a good spot. Just on piccadilly line home now. 4 missed approaches in the space of 40 minutes today. Caught 3 on film hahaha. Love the raw of the engines
