Was on Match of the Day. Went to West Ham and was right next to the home team dug out. Harry Redknapp was standing up and so was I at the same time. Cos of the camera angle it looked like I was stood virtually next to him. It was his last game in charge before he got sacked lol |

"Yeap, was on the local news last year promoting an event Do the radio every now n then too as a guest speaker. Love it, I am such a media tart "
You just reminded me, about 5 years ago I was asked to revue the newspapers on the radio - was a real farce as they told me which bits I was allowed to talk about because it was going to be the subject of that mornings debate. |

My car was, does that count?
She was parked about 50m away from Russell Square Tube Station at the time of 7/7, and was part of the crime scene.
I could see her in the background in some of the TV news reports shortly after the event before everything was boarded up! |

Does a film count?
I managed to wangle a part in the film 'Battle of Orgreave' by the director Mike Figgis.
There is shot of me looking intense and concentrating hard as we are given direction by Mr Figgis, i was aware of the camera and was desperately trying not to look at it! I played a striking miner and got to throw rubber rocks at those playing the police, plus paid £180 for my efforts!
We were hired because we were re-enactors and used to taking directions, the lads playing coppers were our mates as well so there was an element of competition in there
My claim to faim is that you can see the effects of my 'rock throwing' because i was so rubbish i hit in this order :-
Mr Figgis' personal assistant
Mr Figgis himself
The cameraman, causing the film to wobble at one point!
They took the 'rocks' off me at that point...
*Being repeatedly chased up a hill by bloody big police horses confirmed my distaste for cavalry! |

Been on local news a couple of times re: local charity projects. Also been on Radio 1 when I was interviewed by Romeo from So Solid Crew. I was also on Radio Wales when I attended a local MP's "Question Time" type debate and a former colleague swore she'd seen me on TV because my voice was so recognisable that she'd put a face to the voice when hearing me. I've also been on the local news back in the days of the poll tax objections wearing my "bollox to the poll tax" t-shirt lol. |

Was in the audience on the 'Johny Morris animal show' when I was a kid. Anyone remember him? Also on Songs of Praise a few years back. Was in a choir that supported Aled Jones, Clare Sweeney and also Katherine Jenkins. That would've made my mother proud!!! |

Twice as it happens. Once I was interviewed on UK uncovered at a club about 9 or 10 years ago but was so out of it I don't remember much. The follies of early twenties..
The other time was right after Middlesbrough won the carling cup in 2004. It was february 29th and the lass I was with proposed to me live right after the trophy lifting which means it was seen by a fair few million, so there was no gettting out of it. I think my actual response wa "Hell, Yeah!" (though we had been seeing each other all of three weeks)In my defence my team had just won their first trophy in 128 years and I had had a few..
THink we broke up a week or two later..

" ...ooh and ive been on red hot TV !!!"
Now that I would like to see!
I was asked to be interviewed to appear on local television when the BBC followed the transportation of some huge gas tanks to the Wytch Farm oil field in the Purbecks, but I refused.
I was waiting to use a roundabout when the Labour Party battle bus passed. They were filming inside at the time but the clip shown on telly started just after the roundabout was cleared |

I did an interview with Frontline Scotland about 'born again bikers' and how I lost my partner in a bike accident which was a bit harrowing.
I was also on German/Dutch/Belgian telly a lot as I was a dancer with a Karneval Club troupe. |
