All but the cheapest mobiles now have semi-decent cameras, so for most of the 'point and click' stuff it'll continue to be my phone, and my proper camera for the better more serious photographic stuff.
And now that I have a decent tablet, my phone will return to being more of a phone, and basic camera, rather than the mini-computer it had become.
So just like mainstream desktops and laptops, if you're not into serious gaming then you really don't need the latest 'all singing all dancing' model!
