Having trouble getting to sleep. I thought about getting some sleeping tabs off the net, as herbal ones in shop's don't seem to work. Anybody done this before? |

Have you tried the nightol that comes in a blue box? You have to ask for them at the chemists.
If you have see your GP. They often try something like an antihistamine that makes you drowsy before they go for the full blown sleeping pills. |

Bad move you don't know what they will contain. If you have a problem talk to your GP about it and et proper help. |

If you have ordinary anti-histamines (not the non drowsy sort) take two. Don't buy anything chemical to aid sleep on the net.
I squirt my bed with lavender as that helps with sleep.
Also try seeing how much you are sleeping by using Sleep Bot.

i have been an insomniac for years, tried all the tablets, even prescribed ones.
Always have trouble waking up easily on tablets, and feel rough all day so i took an alternative route.
I meditate for about 20 - 30 minutes before bed, and have a routine that seems to work most of the time.
glass of warm milk (has chemicals that aid sleep) and maybe a hot bath. its not the bath that puts you too sleep though its the cooling down afterwards.
lots of advice on the interweb, but never but sleeping tablets online, you never know whats in them.

The doctor gives John Phenagan...I think thats hot it's spelt lol!
They are non addictive and are given to babies and children in lower doses, unlike me who likes at least 8 hrs sleep he can go for 2 days without sleeping and when he does sleep it's only for 3-4 hrs. |

I found that my problem is that I wake myself up coughing. I find it difficult to fall asleep sometimes but that's when I squirt the lavender and it helps.
