Newcastle and Gateshead

would you bring back standing at top flight football games

you are allowed to stand at league 2 and 3 grounds... you are allowed to stand at rugby grounds... safe standing works in other european leagues such as the bundesliga...

why not... I would love to stand again, have standing areas and bring back a lot of the atmosphere old grounds use to have.....

at least give people the option on standing or sitting

I can't stand up for that long so I would take the sitting option over standing

Standing everytime for me (F)

I remember when I used to go when it was all standing, atmosphere was sooo much better, especially when my team scored, we would all jump about and hug each other in delight, good times

I would absolutely bring it back... for example, just the lower bowl behind each of the goals at the emirates......

the reason why this has come up is that the football league have petitioned the authorities to allow safe standing in grounds of teams in the championship......

It would be a good idea if it could bring a better atmosphere to some of the London clubs.

in the night garden

I would have it back.

As Fabio says they do it in the Bundesliga which is widely regarded as having the best atmosphere at matches in Europe. Although a caveat is that that is also partly to do with the average price of a Bundesliga game being around 10% of an EPL game. That would cheer me up!

plymouth

standing is also allowed at skybet league 1. personally i love standing and would hate to have to sit unless im watching at home. Watching brentford at wembley in the play off final last season no one sat down in allocated seats.
