no there is a very versatile food (unlike sweetcorn!!)
slice it and add to soft drinks, gin, barcardi etc, hot water for a detox fresh wake up cuppa.
roast chickem loves lemon. half it and stuff the halves into the cavity. take another lemon squeeze it over par boiled spuds cut up like chunky chips or roasties. put in oven and poor over some chocken stock. add some gyros or souvlaki greek herbs for a mmm yummy delicious greek style sunday roast chicken.

Oh my! Years ago was being ultra sophisticated(!) ... Followed a recipe which included rubbing lemon into the turkey skin i was cooking ( was a big bird) obvi used too much as once cooked, it tasted disgusting! Tainted all the meat and was inedible! Do like hot lemon, brandy and honey when i got a cold. Only way i will have it hot! Lol |
