To say an avocado skin is not smooth, after sitting on it, suggests that you may have been naked at the time. If not you would have not felt the texture of it's skin.
So what are you doing at the moment?

I did wonder where it had gone I d unpacked my shopping and I thought it had dropped out in my car, and yep dark skinned fruit dark grey car covers and no not naked shorts
Never had avocado before do I peel them,? If not its getting a damned good wash,

If it's still hard wait until the top feels a little soft. Slice it open, take the stone out and either spoon out or take the skin off and slice. Add to your bacon buttie for a treat.
If you squished it when you sat on it just squish it up some more and make guacamole.
