Just wondering ladies, I've not taken the pill for many years now, due to problems it caused for me-health wise

However, don't know if it's just age or what, but I have 3 really good weeks, and then at that time of the month, I probably could murder someone (joking) just wondered if I should try the pill again, or any suggestions most welcome!! Just want to not feel as angry and shouty lol

A seaside town near you!

There are quite a few things you can buy over the counter that are meant to help balance the hormones each month. Don't know if they work but it must be worth a try?

In Your Bush

I cut my bum once, it bled for a week and made me really cross.

I used Elastoplast, 'twas a huge relief.

I went through my change a couple of years back.

Still get all the symptoms though.

But feel ten times better.

Look into the herb Vitex Agnus Castus. It is used extensively by the German NHS to treat PMS.

In fact if you google Vitex agnus castus pms you will come up with a load of links, and a paper published in the BMJ which concludes:

"Conclusions: Dry extract of agnus castus fruit is an effective and well tolerated treatment for the relief of symptoms of the premenstrual syndrome."

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Agnus Castus as mentioned works for many people. It might also be worth checking whether you need more progesterone to balance your oestrogen surge. You can get a cream on line if it is too much oestrogen.

I've noticed since Mrs N has been going through change she has become grumpier and much less up for it than she used to be. It's like living with someone with constant PMT

Only joking but it's not as great as it's cracked up to be when the monthly ritual finishes. Enjoy it while it lasts.
