Never heard of mogul, just watching highlights: I loathe snow and the cold but I'm in awe at these athletes. Amazing!

My favourite one was the one earlier with the bumps and then they did a jump.

Although we watched some slalom earlier and may have found the women falling over a tad funny.

Are these proper Sport terms? If not, they should be.

That would be well cool. At least I'd understand your commentary!

"Skier number one is going over the bumps. He's missed the flag thingy... which is good."

There is also the simple Downhill, fastest to the bottom.

I say simple....

Moguls are just manic.

Bear in mind also that TV just does not show the steepness of the hills.

I've skied a few mogul fields (the bumpy slope) and it kills your knees and thighs!!

The ease they do it with is incredible! And the superman jump as well!!

Definitely a young persons game, it obviously will take a toll but boy, thrilling to watch! Has the flinging yourself down a slope and gliding through the air with clenched buttocks gone yet?

Was on last night on the normal hill, not sure if they have done the big hill yet (they are the proper terms BTW not Evie made up ones )

They put a 'best of' on the red button earlier, a woman downhill skier jumped about 60 metres, which is almost as far as Eddie the Eagle managed, then wiped out all the way to the finish line. There loads of spectacular crashes in it.

The skiing events when they say icy you have no idea how icy !!! I have been involved with race courses and omfg they are scarey!! if you are a racer you are ok but for most the only way to ski them is to side slip and even then your arse is clenching!!
