Well after a few years away from the gym I bit the bullet today and re joined!
I'm feeling pretty good now! ( bet I won't be saying that in the morning )
I need to get a routine going! Floor work 1st or the machines 1st???
Anyone got any helpful advice? |

If you have taken a lot of time away from the gym, then best advice i could give is ease back into it slowly.
Don't go back at it like a bull in a china shop, just increase the intensity of exercise slowly with each visit and give your body time to adjust again. |

I may have gone in a bit to fast then!!
I'm pretty fit anyway, I ride a couple of times a week, I did warm up stretches, then about 1hr on the machines, 1/2 hour on the weight machines, 1/2 on the machines then 1/2 floor work! Then cooling off stretches |

My advice would be to take a chair and a couple of chaps. You get to sit down with a drink and watch them work out for you. Much more relaxing and if they are any good, they'll get your pulse racing just as much |

Works for me with either sex
Ages ago I was in the gym and this lass was on the jogger and not everything was as strapped down as she thought. I got quite breathless watching her. She must have been aware, though, as pretty much the entire ruddy gym was watching her. It was hard not too conclude she was doing it on purpose. |

"I often miss going to the gym, its expensive these days though, £6 per session at my local."
My local, council run sports centre, complete with gym, swimming pool and climbing wall offers six months free total membership (all the classes too) for anyone with a pre-existing condition such as back problems and diabetes.
A form to be signed by your GP and that's it! |
