i wondered having seen it on another thread..."most of us work 9 to 5".
Does anyone actually work those hours?
I know i dont my hours are all over the place more like 0800 to 2000 and weekends sometimes.
So what hours do you actually work is my question? |

I do too sassy, we've recently changed to long days, not as young as I was and must confess they are killing me, plus the little in is asleep when I go to work, and asleep when I come home! Which is crap! |

My working hrs are supposed to be 9-5.30 but I can't remember the last time that I worked those. At moment nearer 8.20 till 6 plus 15 mins lessor lunch so over week. Sometime I work till 6.30. For me which is the killer is the over an he travel on top of those hrs. |

A seaside town near you! |
I'm up at 5.30am (my choice as I go swimming before work!) and can get home anytime after 7. If I'm home earlier I feel guilty! On top of that I drive 800+ miles a week and am stuck in a hotel somewhere at least one night a week sometimes more...I think I need a new job! 9-5 sounds bliss!! |

At the minite I'm working a 3 month cycle of 5 days nights - 11.30pm to 7.45am, then 5 days of lates - 3.30pm to 11.45pm, working weekends.
Crap shifts, but my most heavily paid 3 months of the year because of the shift allowance. |

Work 9-5.30 but normally work 8.45 to 6pm, and in top of that an hours travel before and after work, wouldn't mind a job doing longer shifts with less days z |

"I make my own hours. As long as the job is done, everyone is happy. "
This - I have a task and deadline, when where and how I do it is up to me, as long as it is on time and to the required standard. |

I work 8.30am to 4.30pm exactly. If I'm there early I wait outside until 8.30, and my phone alarm goes off at 4.28pm and I go. I refuse to work for free. |

That makes another one of us doing the same thing. Those long shifts are a killer and in the acute sector, there's often no chance of a proper break. |
