List your qualities and downsides separately, and really compare. The pros and cons of your life too. If your current mindset is triggering you to over dwell on the negatives, then notice that you have a choice each time over whether you continue on with that. Notice each time you start doing it then take your mind elsewhere - it does not have to be onto positive stuff, but anything else. I sometimes do things like hand stands, anything that will interrupt a downward spiral. Do something silly, something different each time. Eventually you will have linked a more positive state of mind to the triggers, so you automatically dont have to think about doing it each time. The quickest way to change your state of mind is to change your physiology, hence me doing stuff like hand stands. Get up, move, animate yourself. If you are not relaxing yourself enough, ensure you get enough quality sleep, and also have time to relax. I do lots of yoga- it is really relaxing. If nothing else, practice regular deep breathing, and slow things down. Ease off stuff that may be lowering your mood. Better food is good for your mood too. Add in some exercise to your week - to increase your mental well being. Forget the body condition for now, focus on what is more important, the inner you. Also, add in treats for you, as if giving something to your best friend. Sometimes when we get like this, a kind of anguish, it is a pointer to something being wrong, perhaps not addressed. Find great people to spend time with. Share and laugh as much as you can. Feel therapeutic touch, if nothing else from a massage. Overall, you need to spark some changes into your life and each step you take makes a difference. On the sea of life, changing course by one degree takes you to a very different destination.
