I always like to meet for a drink first but I don't rule out playing on a first meet if we both get on well.
Mind you, I've not met for such a long time I'd probably be a nervous wreak whatever!  |

A lot depends on how much rapport has been built up on here.
I prefer a social meet first and if it works out then move on to have fun - either then or another time.
But
Due to limited time, distance involved then if it has felt right then I have just gone for it.
Whichever circumstances you meet under if you don't want to play when face 2 face then just say, and come away.

Have always operated the same way here.
Some time spent messaging back and forwards getting to know the person a bit, a phone call, then a social meet on the understanding that social might be as far as it goes.
One or two haven't gone any further, one or two then progressed to at least a second meet, but most progressed from social to some fun on the day!    |

I agree with the op
No right or wrong way of doing it, but we like to meet in a pub or coffee place.
The reasons for that is connection and having a laugh.
Could not be nothing worse than having no connection.
At least you can walk away shake hands, no harm done lol

I like to meet for a drink and chat first, if we like each other and get along I prefer we play the same night, I see no point in walking away from someone you want to fuck to arrange to play another night, if your both there and want each other just get on with it  but I will always meet in public for a drink first, I have no intentions of booking a room or going to someone's house I have never met to shag , what if you book a room and then don't like each other |

Personally I find that sure, sometimes its nice to meet having agreed beforehand for nothing more than a social drink, but I think such meets are best for when you find one another attractive and interesting, but perhaps not in a sexual sense. If you think there is a possibility that you may be sexually attracted to each other however, then its much better to have the option of proceeding onto sex on the same meet, rather than arrange to meet up another time. |
