My sister makes all the family cakes. She is amazingly talented.
For Ruby's birthday last year she made the torso of a woman wearing a corset. It was stunning!!!
Previous cakes have included a horse's head, an owl, a turtle, an iPhone, a shoe on a cushion, a fairy toadstool complete with sugar past fairies (my nan has kept one that has lasted nearly 2 years now lol) |

For me it's less about the design and more about the thought behind the cake and the people giving it to me.
The one my teenage son chose for me a couple of years ago was the nicest I've received. Mainly because of the thought he had put into it |
