Not much, it only started at quarter past, probably be more after the athletes parade. You missed some firework, video and the Olympic symbol failing to open properly  |

perhaps im biased but dont think it had the wow that our london ceremony had..
could be that i understood the history of the uk where as the russian stuff was explained |

The Summer Olympics are much, much bigger but this is quite a show for the winter's, -they built this stadium for the opening ceremony, virtually; not much chance of that flame going out through lack of oil!!!  |

The Summer Olympics are much, much bigger but this is quite a show for the winter's, -they built this stadium for the opening ceremony, virtually; not much chance of that flame going out through lack of oil!!! "
They are saying the most expensive games staged.

London was the bees knees!
Forget about opening ceremonies, 2012 was the most brilliant TV I've ever seen!!

I know, but I was trying to think about it without London in my mind. The fireworks were better than Beijing (unless these turn out to be fake too).
