So I've finally taken the step and booked my very first tattoo, 12 hours worth of work and now feeling a little apprehensive! I'm guessing that is a normal feeling? |

Very normal. Eat a very large meal beforehand, it will help with your adrenaline and body sugars going mad. Take a couple of painkillers before you go in. Take energy drinks and a Mars Bar with you.
The first half hour hurts like a bitch, after that your adrenaline will help with the pain. After that I start to enjoy it. My longest session was 3 1/2 hours on my ribs. Hoping for you the 12 hours is spread out over a few sessions!
Enjoy the experience and show us your art when you're done! |

It is 12 hours spread over 4 visits wouldn't be as brave to do anymore, first booking 11th April deposit paid so no backing out now. Thanks on the tips. Would like to describe it but it is very complicated but I'll be sure to post the finished article. |

This, apart from the painkillers beforehand, they have a tendency to thin the blood, so you'll bleed more and the tattooist will spend more time cleaning than tattooing. |
