So I was chatting to a woman on here naming no names and she said she wanted a gym fit body on a guy. I explained I play rugby and she wanted to see what's on offer now I'm a foward so need some power and bulk. She then proceeded to blast me with fat comments! So my question is what the hell is a gym fit body useful for? I've played against guys like that and they are very easy to tackle and in some cases make cry |

I may want to tackle a gym fit body but I won't be making him cry...
Gym fit bodies are lovely to look at and handle. This is a site for exploring one's desires and fantasies. I desire and fantasize about gym fit bodies so why shouldn't I pursue them?
If it means I get less action that's my look out. |

Well a sexual encounter isn't playing rugby to be fair. Women aren't looking to be tackled and made to cry. |

I'm not talking about tackling a woman and making her cry, I think in some areas of the world that is frowned upon. I'm talking about how because I didn't fit a certain image she had in her head I got blasted for not fitting in it. |

Ive done kickboxing for 10 years, seen big men fall to much smaller oppenents so just because your a big strong fella dosent make a difference, a gym fit body is toned and defined whereas a guy in your position needs the bulk and weight. Just because you go to the gym and play a hard sport dosent mean you have a gymfit 'looking' body |

Because you did not fit what she was physically looking for? Without context its hard to say. Did she want athletic? I had that on my profile but took it off because the definition clearly meant different things to people. Many Rugby types contacted me and they were not my preference. |

Do I complain when I get turned down? No I don't. I'm not to everyone's taste and I believe that all parties have to have lust for this swinging malarkey to work.
No lust, no meet. And since we're using the internet to pick and choose all we have to go on is the profile and pictures.
If you want your winning personality to do the work for you go to a club. If you are going to continue on here then expect to have decisions made based on the photos you provide. |

A picture tells a thousand words, or something like that. There are all kinds of different perspectives on what fit, athletic etc mean when describing someone. Best is to have enough profile pics so that someone else can _iew and decide for themselves whether they find you hot, without subjecting you to the spanish inquisition or end up putting you down. If someone is looking for a get out clause, or reason not to meet, then they will find it. The sad case of those inadequate types who need to put others down is just a pathetic part of some lives. Dont get caught up in it. If your body is as you want it, then find others who like you. |

No matter how close your body is to what a profile is asking its pretty normal to get a sorry not my type message. Lol.
As mentioned gym fit or athletic have many interpretations as does fab.
I remember originally putting myself as fab as I didnt really know what to put and was instantly told sorry we dont meet overweight people. Ah so thats what it meant doh! Silly me.
Now athletic could mean a cyclist or an olympian body builder I guess.
I just put average its guaranteed to get a not my type response lol.
In summary no matter how close you think you are to a profiles requirements its often not so Just move on to the next one and good luck OP.

"I suspect when she said gym body she meant fitness model physique"
This. And most rugby players despite probably being fitter and stronger simply don't look like they belong on the cover of Men's Health.
But despite the OP being what the womam wanted, she is in the wrong for pointing it out |

I don't think the issue here is the definition of gym fit. It's the fact that yet again a woman has decided she has the right to abuse a man because, let's face it, women hold the power and can talk to men however they choose right?
Wrong!
If this was a woman posting about how a guy had given her shit about the way she looked there would be over 100 posts saying 'his loss love' 'single guys ruin it for us good ones on here' etc etc
Ok so we can't see what the OP looks like but even if he looked like the Michelin man no body has the right to be verbally abusive towards anyone.
Gym fit, much like anything, cam have a dozen or more definitions depending on who you speak to. Is it someone who goes to the gym every week? I go to the gym at least twice a week, I run up to 14k a week, does that make me gym fit? No. Would I respond to a request for gym fit? No because I _iew gym git as someone who is slim and doesn't wobble as much as I do |

OP. Your status quote clearly shows you were upset but you should just dismiss the comment.
Its pretty standard here
What does make a real man? Again open to very different interpretations.
All men are real but many of the women here arent lol. ( as someone else suggested) Some have real balls.
Dont worry about it move on their loss and Goodluck Mr.
Always consider maybe you were too fit! Or lady was too lightweight for the larger athelete |

So the op was chatting with a lady on here .
No doubt getting to the point of a potential meet .
We don't know how the banter went between them , up to the point when she asked him if he had a gym fit body .
Her response after seeing a pic could have been Tongue in cheek !
Even if it wasn't , without knowing the whole transcript we don't know it was abusive .
If you have a profile with absolutely no pics at all then this will happen . She could have been disappointed that the op didn't fit her mental image of him .
So why does she get reported ?

If she thought you were fat then in her eyes you are fat that's her opinion. Why you think rugby has anything to do with swinging is a mystery, a guy who is gym fit has more muscle to fat so is usually more athletic and doesn't have the "rugby players beer belly" in the way when fucking, a gum fit guy doesn't drip sweat all over the place like a chubby bubby can and why you think its good to make a guy cry I can only guess at what you wish to do with another guy. |

"Also, for the record, most men don't get "gym bodies" for women, they do it for themselves. "
I think there's always an element of wanting to be more appealing to women amongst those who train, but the ones who get into it solely for that reason won't likely stick with their training for long. |

Gym fit is what I refer to as 'Meat Heads' you recognise these in the gym, they look as though they have stepped off the cat walk, wear silly none appropriate clothing, I've even seen one 'Meat Head' in flip flops. They walk past all the cardio machines straight to the weights........I wouldn't say they have any more stamina at all!

I will agree with you to a point, when "meat heads" are building they mostly eat and train ( heavy weights) but how do you think they shed their body fat? Its not with 30 minutes cardio a day I can tell you, its more like 2 hours a day! |

Definitely everyone is entitled to their own likes and dislikes on here, but there seem to be a lot on fabs, who look for supermodel types...gym fit male, model ideal etc, when they in fact look like the back end of a bus!
In real life its called batting way above your weight!

The joys of body building; bulky, bald, sweaty men on illegal anabolic steroids and other creative chemicals.
Unfortunately, the end result is often aggressive behaviour, cardiac, liver damage and tiny testicles.
Slim and toned, is far better.

Good for you; then you're not using the shortcuts and actually putting the effort in.
'So ner': (slang, childish) An interjection generally used when gloating about a perceived cause of humiliation or inferiority for the person being addressed, often when disagreeing with a statement considered incorrect or irrelevant.

Well for me a gym fit body physically enables me to get into the clothes size I want and mentally gives me the confidence to do so. I couldn't do either if I was rugby build.
And the classes I attend mean that when my gym fit body gets me laid, guy or girl, I can go all night like a train.

If she was abusive to you then report her. You might not have matched her version of a gym fit body but there are ways of saying it without being rude.

It's obviously useful for picking up women, beyond that I'm not sure.
I'm attracted to women with nice bodys, vica versa I'm sure.
If you want to get strong powerlifting, strength training. There's plenty of stuff you can do in the gym.
You can also have an amazing body and not be fit, if your on steroids and fat burners like clen and t3. Chances are you probably have high blood pressure, etc and so on. |

I thought you said you had an idea what to do and not so stop giving out bad advice you should never try sitting down with a weight in that position its potentially hazardous and can end up causing severe damage if you loose your balance if your not sure dont make up advice someone could get hurt. You should always be in control of weights more so if someone is struggling to lift them. |

I don't see how someone could become injured if its a slow and controlled descent into the seated position, its the same with box Squats, where a MUCH heavier weight is used. |

Wow, some people really getting the point of the conversation, some not. I wasn't having a go at gym fit bodies in general but at the reaction of one woman who didn't have the manners or skills not to be a cow in regards to how people look. If someone tells me I'm not their type its usually done in a graceful manner and not like a boltgun to the temple and I usually reply with a "thankyou no worries" type responce. Its just odd that some people can be so harsh to others without a care. |

"I go to the gym and I have little functional strength, I can shoulder press 25kg either side but someone needs to put them on my shoulders lol
Power Clean them off the floor onto your shoulders first before you sit down (though I prefer pressing exercises standing), its much easier than trying to wrestle them up afterwards.

i love watching a muscle develop and change through my own plan of action
i love the challenge of some exercises and pushing for bigger weights and more reps
and i love the release/relief you feel after you`ve given everything you got in that place

Don't take it too much too heart as gym fit could mean different things to different people. Some would mean definition, some would mean huge bulk and others mean built like a brick shit house!!!! I'm on the much smaller leaner scale that I get because I love long endurance activities so if your going to make me cry youre going to have to run for a hell of a long time to catch me lol!!! |

"So I was chatting to a woman on here naming no names and she said she wanted a gym fit body on a guy. I explained I play rugby and she wanted to see what's on offer now I'm a foward so need some power and bulk. She then proceeded to blast me with fat comments! So my question is what the hell is a gym fit body useful for? I've played against guys like that and they are very easy to tackle and in some cases make cry "
It's all about practical strength I'm 14 stone lean. I have tackled guys twice my size before. A gym fit body I would suggest means lean and toned. I think stay away from gym fit unless cutting and go for girls who like muscly. |

Because women can be as good at being arseholes as men. I'm a woman and from what I've read and observed over time I am of the opinion that women can be complete cunts |

You were obviously just not what she was looking for but she lacked a lot of class if she started making disparaging remarks when she could have just said no thanks. Either way it doesn't serve you to well to then make remarks about blokes who look different to you either, just move on mate, it's way easier. |

What's that got to do with it?
Can only gym fit women lust after or play with gym fit men then?
I hope not or I'd have to seek Giant Haystack types! "

It doesn't really matter to me to be honest (within reason of course) but i still have to be attracted.
Personally, i like women that are curvy. Not sticks and bones - if i got on top, they'd crack lol.
Now defining curvy is another matter and for me, you really can't pin point what's curvy. With different people it will be different things.
Then again, someone's body isn't the most crucial thing to me. If they're dry like a sponge with no humour or life stories to share. Won't be for me. I prefer someone who can chat the same shit as me - a conversation out of anything.
You know what i think of you Nat |

I wouldnt say turns me off but I prefer a slim/toned/athletic body on a man or woman. A friend of mine who is very gym fit and has gym body prefers her women to be curvy so theres no telling |

Exactly my thoughts , but my plan of action is wooing a woman, developing a groinal muscle and mutual "release"
I wont make any jokes about "dumb belles" though.....

"Gym fit is what I refer to as 'Meat Heads' you recognise these in the gym, they look as though they have stepped off the cat walk, wear silly none appropriate clothing, I've even seen one 'Meat Head' in flip flops. They walk past all the cardio machines straight to the weights........I wouldn't say they have any more stamina at all!
we point and laugh at you pencil necks
you only enter the weights room to nick the 10kg dumbells
haha, Meat Heads and Pencil Necks, it's like a fitness version of the Westside Story!
" maria, I just met a gym girl maria....!! Fitness comes in all shapes and forms. This " pencil" neck would beat any gym " no neck' any day of the week on a fifty mile cycle but I would also probably even at my age beat them over ten miles carrying a loaded bergan.
Power to weight is key. Good luck with the mahogony bronzing though chaps.... |
