think of all the couples who a struggling to make ends meet and cant afford to go all out on valentines day
i got my other half stuff from the poumd shop
such as
led heart lights
material rose petals
3d heart sequin things
plastic hearts
photo frame
and a card´
and the looked lovely when i tried them out  |

Makes me laugh when people insinuate that just because you make a gesture on Valentine's day you don't do anything any other day of the year  |

Quantity doesnt always mean you love them more.. . I once did this I went into tescos and bought lots of bunches all different colours. When I gave em to Di she she just said "how many you bought" I said "Thanx would have been nice"
A single rose.... Or any flower,a daisy would do.... If its from the heart. Ive often while been with someone. Plucked a flower and given it to my date/girl... Its the simple things from the heart that mean more than spending lots of money  |

Actual story
My girl was on nights,just before she was due home I text her and said bring me a tea up when you get in.....
Id cut the wrapper ends off a chocolate stick quality street toffee,making a gold I. Put an haribo red jelly heart under it then made a U from a gold wrapper put that underneath then I cut the three XXXs from a pack of extra strong mints. I then made the drinks and put one either side of the bed on the bedside cabinets. Id smoothed the gold foil from a rolo so beside her was a last gold rolo. I heard her come through the door take her shoes off and head for the kettle she saw

I know it's the thought that counts! But still, it's a £3 present . Even kiddies' party bags cost more than that! I would rather have something he made himself like a home cooked meal or a whole body massage... But maybe that's just me. |
