I can't wear many high heels, the ones in the shops are too high.
I fancy some suede ones with a strap, can't find any I can walk in...
There are so many lovely shoes on here, I've got shoe envy. |

I can't wear stiletto heels, but I have several pairs of platform heels. Just find them so much more comfortable. |

I do wear shoes that have heels but I dont thimk it looks nice if they are too high. Its never elegant to see women wobbling on heels, they almost have a bow legged look about them. I also think you have to be careful if you have thick ankles and bigger legs.
Very high heels arent always the best look, they do look the best on slim legs, otherwise a 3 - 4 inch heel can look better |

I always think it depends on foot size, height and the dumpy effect it can give some. Some women have balance and poise others look like babe on stilts. You have to wear what suits you, what you can walk in and avoid what makes others giggle at you. |

"The search continues.
I can't keep wearing boots!!
Why can't you wear ones in the shops there are plenty to choose from?"
I said there are lots I can't wear.. Not All. Somebody else assumed that as well.
I've been in the sales recently and ones I like have nice fronts, but there are a lot of 5 inch heel shoes about.. Probably Christmas party stock.

But it won't stop me wearing high heels |

I love heels and I would wear them all the time but for the fact I am so tall (5.9). So I hit six foot pretty much in heels. When I wear them I feel sexy and slimmer and my posture is better too. But I don't like being tall and having everyone stare at me so I won't. Also I don't like being taller than my hubby and he doesn't like it either. It's so hard on a night out to find something great to wear with flat shoes!!!. It dictates my whole wardrobe. Oh now I've gone and depressed myself

At 4'10 I really need to wear heels but unfortunately can't as I've had a broken ankle and broken foot. I do have the wedge maribou slippers in black and in red for going to clubs which is the best compromise I could find. |

When I was a child I had books about Billy and Bessie Bunter. Bessie was a big girl with big legs that tapered into tiny little shoes. That's the look you get if you wear very high heels and have a fuller figure. It looks so much better if you stick to a 3 inch heel which is still high enough to look elegant |
