Watching the news... So many people affected.

The storms are endless.

They should send as many resources in as possible.

Need a fund for people.

Heartbreaking.

It's been bad, hard to fight the forces of mother nature though. Houses falling into the sea at Kingsands in Cornwall that have stood the test of time for hundreds of years, until now. And more to come apparently, haven't seen any weather forecasts since this morning but it wasn't good.

Would have thought that's going to be on the north coast isn't it, I know one surfer that would give it a go if he could get a tow out I've been through a typhoon at sea with less swell than that it isn't fun, even big ships get battered in those seas. Hopefully those brave coastguards won't have to put to sea in what is coming.

Strangely enough, there was a repeat of Coast this afternoon - unrelated to this - and they spoke of waves of 14 metres. I found it almost incomprehensible.

Thankfully in this country pretty rare, not so rare in places that suffer typhoons and hurricanes.

It was related to a piece on submarine construction. It's just frightening to think of weather like that here.

A colleague lives there - it has high winds and lashing rain, but little or no structural damage in the town centre. I wouldn't advise going near the beach - the wind whips up the sand and shot-blasts everything.
