Did the officer misshear/mistake tea for two.
He knew the guy by name.
No one reported him driving erratically
He was not seen driving his car by a police officer.
Apparently having the keys to your vehicle on your person is being under control of your vehicle even if you are not in or attempting to enter your vehicle.
Does this mean that the police can enter a pub, get everyone to empty their pockets and breathalyser everyone found in possession of car keys, it'll save them hanging around outside the carpark waiting for drink drivers to leave in their cars, think of the savings in police time. |
