Somewhere in North Norfolk

Fixing other people's laptops and taking down and putting up a holding page for an out-of-date website.

It's all fun here.

Oh. I'm also going to B&Q to buy varnish.

The excitement is palpable!

What are you lot up today?

No, not all. Plenty of chores to do too.

The laptop fixing is likely to take a while though.

WOW VV I am totally impressed that you understand computers!! I am such a technophobe.

I plan to have a totally lazy and indulgent day pampering myself but may yield to the ironing at some point.

I'm bartering computer skills for car mechanic skills. Although I can do what needs doing on my car, in this weather I'd rather not have to! The computer stuff is indoor - in the warm and dry - work!

Work now.

Leaving early to avoid all the commotion and stressed out commuters.

Will go for a run and have a quick tug to unwind.

This evening will be spent practicing the guitar and watching Dexter.

Yep, not exactly local. The guy in question is a professional mechanical though, so he has a workshop, 4 post lift etc. He's not good with computers though, so it's a good trade off for us both.

So far I've spent an hour trying to get lady Gaga tickets on pre sale. Have had a shower popped down stairs to cook the rice for tonight's fried rice meal a quick perve in the forums then back to the computer for a short while until I go to the hospital to visit my auntie.

Damn! I always thought I was tight enough but the Virgin man says all my problems were caused by me being too loose.

I was unable to get the varnish I wanted and they didn't have the sizes of timber I needed either.

A laptop is backing up ready for some attention. I'm also trying to get up the enthusiasm to start transferring the contents of my Galaxy S2 to my new S4.

I'd like to spend the afternoon with a book, really.

I'm quite pleased with myself. I have done very little but managed to get the work for today done, secure some work for next month, book the car for its service and MOT, appealed a parking ticket and chase up payment of my invoices.

Now the challenge of working out how to get to my meetings tomorrow when the tube is on strike.
