I had a pair of diadora snow boots and a sweatshirt as a teen (and yes they were well cool).......... I'm just wondering why the OP still thought them cool 16 years later  |

Not too old as my sister is in her 20s and she wore them when she was about 4 or 5, and even then people in their 20s wore it. So people in their early 40s must remember it. |

Does that mean if you went into a shop wanting 2 pairs of these jeans. You would ask for "fu fu's" and would you ask if they had them in different styles  |

They aren't cool now, but they were at the time. At least, I thought they were. I had a diadora sweatshirt & ellesse shoes
Before that I had a cheap ass shell-suit & a purple reebok tracksuit. |

No. the shop sold different makes of jeans, hundreds of pairs in the shop you just found what you were looking for. |
