Only a few towns in the country have the title 'Royal'
How would you feel if your town/city was awarded the status of Royal.. would it be a good or a bad thing?

My Borough became a royal Borough last year, although I'm not sure of its importance, I just know they must have spent a fortune on changing every single Road name sign |

They had to show how they would do it as part of their Jubilee application. Lots of businesses sponsored their local authorities to go for it but yes, a fortune will have been spent.

thats what im thinking.. some of our town think it will increase house prices.
we already have a Royal Regatta and a Britania Royal Naval College .. now they wantt it to be Royal Dartmouth
think its a lot of money and a load of shite lol |
