When I was a naive 18 yo I remember (and yes I can remember that far back!) that one of the Sunday supplements ran a series of one page interviews each week with someone in the public eye. The article was based on the question "things I wished I had known at eighteen".
The only answer I remember now was Kingsley Amis ... at 18 he wished he had known that girls enjoyed sex as much as boys. Well this stood me in good stead for the rest of my fumbling adolescence. Odd that's the only response I can recall now!
So looking back with the benefit of having lived a little ... what one thing do you wish you had known at 18? |
