Hey ladies
Has any one had the merina coil Put in
I had mine put in on the 7th Han and I had 3 periods since then, no pain just bleeding x
Any advice would be good
I have contacted the Docters and they have said every one if different x |

I have had a mirena coil since i was 16 years old as that was last option for my dreadful periods.
They say for the 1st 6 months you can spot irregullarly but mine didnt last that long its just your body getting used to a foreign body.
I dont bleed now just get the mood swings every month x |

I'm on my third and last coil. Its due out in April and I'll be replacing it with the implant. Nothing wrong with the coil - its been fab. But I'm stampeding towards the menopause and it just isn't stopping the periods any more. As having it put in is as much fun as toothache I'd rather go a less invasive way next time. |

You should have been given the information leaflet when you had it put in ,which will tell you what to expect in the first few months  along with the card that tells you the date when it has to be removed , the bleeding will settle down I have many friends who have one and say its very effective x Ana |
