Mine was Spiderman, had a deal with the newsagent, and he used to keep a copy under the counter for me in case they sold out on the shelf.

John as collected Marvel comics for years, he now gets them on DVD in complete collections in cbz comic format.

Each DVD hold's about 400 comics & he has about 50 of them at present but buys a few more each month...easier than a loft full of comics lol!

"2000AD The bible lol"

We picked up a Judge Dredd no.1 issue when out with swinging friends in Hastings, the women charged us 75p which was crazy for a mint condition comic.

Our friends wondered why John was so excited over his buy.

I got a 1st edition Terminator comic from the early 90's, been wanting to have it valued but no idea how to go about getting it done?

I used to get the Beano. It was delivered with the Sunday papers so I'd sneak downstairs, take the Beano out of the pile then go back to bed. When I grew up and thought that was too childish I used to get Blue Jeans and Jackie.

I look on ebay at prices & comic dealers as people sometimes pay way over the top to complete a series, Spiderman 1(UK) is valued about £250 same as Hulk etc.

One dvd cbz collections i got was Spiderman from issue 1-600.

I have 13 no.1 issues & always grab them when i can...if i can afford it lol!

The Terminator collection are great as is the Alien set, think that's Dark Horse comics that do them.

Classics Illustrated. Had heaven knows how many. It paved the way to reading the original stories. Brilliant stuff and wonderful for general knowledge.
