I value the social aspect of the site, but have no particular desire to use it for that specifically. To me, you're supposed to chat to people, exchange mails, participate in discussions on here etc in order to better establish those you like and have things in common with, personally once I've found someone like that, I'd much rather socialise with them face to face rather than simply online, ideally with an eye to full swinging.

There's no right answer - as it is at the end of the day simply a website. It's a means of contact and 'advertising' your interests and preferences.

To some it's a sex site, nothing more. To others (us included) it's a swingers site - and that involves a heavy element of social activity. And as last nights event at Xtasia showed - we don't seem to be the only ones sharing that _iewpoint!

Hi, firstly let me say that this is a swinging site and that means it is firstly about sex but with a social side too. However that does not mean that female members of the site have to spread their legs for anyone that contacts them. In fact the whole point of the site is that we all have a safe and secure place where we can be open about what we are looking for without being pressured into performing with people we dont want to be with. The site owners take a dim _iew of bullying and will not tolerate it. You need to block and report anyone that is in any abusive to you.

I couldn't agree more.

To be perfectly honest, when I first joined fab just over a year ago, I was under the assumption that it was predominately a sex contacts site - but that was entirely due to my inexperience and lack of knowledge at the time with regard to the world of swinging.

I have found fab to be much, much more.

I have made new friends here - some of whom I may never meet, let alone shag, but nevertheless, it's nice to communicate with people.

How ironic that this post should resurface after 30 weeks. I still see it as a swingers site however I think that of late the attitude of some on here is that it's a sex site. Im not a one dimensional person with just one need, so fab suits a variety of my interests. It has a sex theme but it is primarily about interaction that is deeper than just flesh on flesh. Most of us I think prefer the right personality, alongside looks, to physically engage with - imo - and forum users like to engage socially in various ways. It is predominantly and originally a swingers site, it still is a swingers site, but it now gets used for a whole host of different things ie, 1 on 1 singles meets, cheats, etc, because its free and easy to join people will use it for what they like, but that doesnt change the name or description of what the site is.
