Don't like them, as I believe they are way too expensive for what they are.
I made my own charm bracelets by buying the 14K WG diamond-set charms, the chain, and findings from a reputable company in US and had them imported.
The finished bracelet means a lot to me, as I made it with my own hands, and saved a fortune in the process! |

That's a great idea!
I am buying cheaper charms too |

"Detest the things, lots of woman wear them, its so "everybody has them so I will wear one too" syndrome, just expensive "cheap looking junk""
It's a keepsake too as some are bought by family and friends, but each to their own |

I got bought one for a birthday complete with charms...the colour on the pave stones is wearing off (having checked this particular charm cost £50) and the little star on one charm (costing £60) is going blunt on the star points.....seems like rather bad quality for your money to me |

I dislike all Sterling silver charm bracelets, as I believe they are not worth the price they are charging.
I do have one myself though, again, a custom one, started with just a plain bracelet when I was in my teens. I would buy a silver charm from places I had visited and add to it.
It still brings a smile to my face when I come across it while searching for other pieces of jewellery.

I have two traditional silver charm bracelets. I had to get a second one as I buy charms when I travel and I get given them at Christmas and birthdays and also by boyfriends.
I got four new ones at Christmas.
I like it because they are both different and the charms have meaning to me. |

I don't like dangly things on my wrist, but I have a Nomination bracelet which is like one of those plastic wristbands and as you buy the charms you replace the standard links with the charms...I have to be careful explaining the charms to "normal" people as they include a rabbit (cos every single girl should have a rabbit), male and female symbols (cos I'm bi) and a Swallow (cos I love birds of course)
I've got my initial as a charm too and want the other 4 letters of my name but it'll cost another £140 so that'll have to wait a while |

I did wonder how they would wear and tear... Interesting to know |

I have a Nomination bracelet, and it was part of my daily work jewellery wardrobe in the days when I was climbing up a corporate food chain, with no dangling parts and IMHO, do not look too frivolous.
It was bought during a business trip to Florence at the airport, close to where Nomination is based, and I chose the Duomo as one of the charms to remind me of this lovely city.
The others being my initials, my star sign and birthstone, and some random enamelled ones that I thought looked cute, along with some set with semi-precious stones.
I can justify Nomination products as I believe they are more honestly priced.

I love my Pandora charm bracelet and I like the new collections that come out.
I also have other Pandora jewellery, i love the cocktail rings, and I also have a bangle which im starting to fill as my bracelet is full.
I have had some of my charms for a few years and none of the charms are inferior to the newer charms but I always buy from a registered Pandora stockist in a reputable jewellers and never online.

I like the pandora style bracelets, each of the charms has a meaning to me.
I don't like it too full & have a few coloured glass beads on it as well for definition.
I think they look great layered with another bracelet, the friendship style Links of London works well with them. |

Ive got a range of shambala, thomas sabo, pandora and nomination braclets and love them all, yet to fill my nomination one though, have a wee heart with my name on it, very rare for me to find my name on charms without ordering it specially and paying out my ass for it, and got several charms from my family with different meanings for |

I had a traditional one made up for a lady who "took me under her wing" when I first joined the scene. The charms themselves weren`t the usual ones though but were made by a silversmith who no longer trades to my knowledge - Richard Larsen. Those who have been to Erotica over the years will no doubt have seen his work. The charms? Wwell lets say you wouldn`t let your maiden aunt have a look at them! |

I can see why people like them, although they are not my cup of tea...charms bought by loved ones for special occasions can make a bracelet full of sentiments and something to treasure.
I prefer something less dangly. |

Quite possibly. He was based in Bristol and used to be a regular at Erotica until he went out of buisness. |

I've aquired a few over the years and even had a go at making replicas by lost wax or cuttlefish bone but the detail is a bit intricate to cast well. |

I'm not a fan. I tend to prefer making my own jewellery as I like things to look unique and be personal.
I've recently seen a gorgeous necklace on Etsy which has inspired me and given me an idea for something new to make.
I don't like dangly things round my wrists either so I'm not keen on charm bracelets. I have one a silver one which was a Christening present and which I used to add charms to as a child but I don't wear it. |

Richard Larsen made some lovely fetish jewellery, sadly no longer, trading due to illness I beleive
