I've just brought a car from Stevenage, previous owner said his designation isn't the easiest to locate.

Do anyone know Stevenage well enough to help me out?

The car located on private land so a satnav will take me so far.

The previous owner said he would meet me in a location we both know....smart headed me agreed before I thought otherwise.

Is their a place which is iconic and easy to find?

"Google maps?"

It's basically showing the road prior to the

one needed,6 miles short of destination.

Go straight down A1M Get off @ Junction 8 second exit onto A602. First exit takes you to the town centre/ Elder Way. Massive shopping centre there and a Macdonalds where you could meet

If it was me mate I wouldn't be meeting anyone in a car park to part with me hard earned, I would only meet at the address the cars registered at

The layout is a bit weird. Not every house is on a road (if that makes sense?). There are a lot of cul de sacs in some parts of new town which are for parking and then you have to walk to the house

If you have any doubts there is a carpark next to the station that is also next to the main police station.

Stevenage is probably no more than 6 miles from North to South - there is nowhere around there that is 6 miles from Google maps

If they are anywhere near Chadwell Road or Dyes Lane I would be VERY cautious. They fit the description of not easily found and the properties found round there are not on google maps.

Thats exactly why I dont like this plan of his,its a lot of money handing over in a car park.

But the bloke is 70 and seems honest enough.
