TV and internet, you can improvise a decent workout at home using just bodyweight exercises, and a great one if you can afford a few weights and simple equipment.

I'd go for the Gym as they have a TV there and music and not a big watcher of TV and have the internet via my phone

My excuse for not using my bodyweight to exercise at home is that given my current bodyweight I'd be likely to injure myself

Its expensive at first to buy the equipment (though you don't need to buy it all at once), but it works out much cheaper in the long run, you never have to wait for someone else to finish with the equipment you want to use, you can train whenever you like. The downside is that you're more limited in the exercises you can do, and certain lifts can be dangerous without a spotter.

In the middle

Would have been a simple decision for me as I don't like the gym thing, I prefer to do my exercise out in the fresh air

Gym=

Get in car

Drive to gym

Change into gym wear

Get on running machine/cross trainer/step machine

Set electric motors to right speed/resistance

Turn on and run

Shower

Get back into car

Drive home

Or you could go for a run and save a lot of money and time that you could then use for TV and internet...

Central

Having your own home kit is no good for those who want to perve, sorry, admire the surroundings in a public place. Slipping ropes are incredibly versatile and cost just a few quid. Cash left for internet, tv and a beer.

For a moment I thought you were referring to the crisp, and I doubt anyone slim enough to fit into one of those would need a fitness routine!

I Could happily do without tv, so for me it would be my Taekwondo gym.

Without that my legs, back, shoulders and neck would seize up from work.

thanks V V im robbing that lol.

no matter if you have a gym membership or not, if the motivation aint there, its money down the drain, so tv and internet is probably the right choice.

im still waiting to get my bleedin fitness dvd's back so i an get started again.

not interested in going out in the cold to do shit lol

That's why I'd recommend that anyone planning on starting a fitness routine do so by setting up a simple one you can do at home, say just a couple of bodyweight exercises and some outdoor jogging. If you can manage 30 minutes every other day, and maintain this for a few weeks without it becoming a chore, then you're probably ready to make the most out of a gym membership.

Bizarrely, I do better going to the gym. If I'm working out at home it's easy to think 'I'll just do this first' and never get round to the exercise, whereas if I can pick up my gym bag and get out of the door, that's enough. And I know I have to do it by a certain time or it'll be closed, or busy, or mess up meal times, or something.

Not that I am managing to do anything much at home or at a gym at the moment

TV and Internet! Then get a chin up bar off eBay and use the Internet to find out all the different techniques to work all the muscles. Do that and a few more body weight exercises and who needs a gym?
