What products do you prefer that are produced by the supermarkets that you feel taste better and enjoy more than the the main brands?

Don't like Robinsons squash, much prefer Asda's or Sainsbury's selection

Frazzles also frequently get beaten by the supermarket own brands too!

Unfortunately I live in a town in which Tesco is the only supermarket, so what you pay for their own brands is largely more expensive than Normal brands, quite literally they have jacked the prices up cause they have the monopoly, but for a big shop I go asda like I said name brands are the same price or cheaper than Tesco own brands where I live, but there ain't nothing wrong with own brands, I'm not a food snob!! Me kids aren't, my sister wishes she could say the same but her husband and kids are fussy and will not eat own brand products!

tell your sister to take the labels off the tins and refill branded packets with own brand stuff, it worked for my mate with his demanding kids

I've stopped being a food snob and decided to try to eat value stuff.

I prefer Tesco value korma sauce (less fat in it too) Lemonade, blue ribband style biscuits and dark chocolate. Those are the only ones I've tried so far x

Some own brands are just as nice as branded goods but a lot cheaper. I buy a lot of supermarket brands to try. If I don't like them, then I wont buy them again. Simple!

A lot of people are food snobs but I'm sure if they didn't know what brands they were eating, they wouldn't be able to tell the difference!

I mostly shop at Tesco and most food i buy is Tescos own brand, they are all as good as branded stuff.

The one thing i do prefer to buy is washing powder/liquid, i buy either Persil or Ariel, which ever is on offer, i find them far better than Tescos own.

The only branded things we buy are cereals, instant coffee, cat food and milk (cravendale). The rest of our groceries come from Aldi.

I buy Asda's very cheap value brand baked beans, much nicer than Heinz Baked Beans. I prefer to buy the cheap stuff than branded versions and buy the cheap bacon, Iceland own brand chicken portions etc etc except coffee

Branded tea, coffee and cereals, apart from that I'll give most of the other stuff a try.

We buy branded cornflakes, tea, coffee and ketchup. Everything else we buy is un branded either from aldi or lidl. It's so much cheaper and so much more nicer.
