there is an organised club type thing that happens at a normal night club in palmerstown, but they dont advertise it this far in advance.
its not really a swinging club.
otherwise, just dont go to the usual touristy pubs as they will charge you a fortune.
cant remember the name of the place, but it ill come to me as soon as V reminds me (she is from Dublin) |

Palmerstown isn't the most salubrious of areas so not somewhere I would suggest wandering around if you don't know where you are going, taxi there and back! |

Temple Bar is fine, a bit like Covent Garden or Leicester Square, you usually get a few bars playing traditional music and to be fair, most of Dublin is extortionately expensive so I wouldn't rule it out on that basis. Have always had decent nights out wherever I've been in Dublin. |

its about the only place V wont go when we are in the city.
she has family just on the outskirts, so are there fairly often, but the horror stories of prices from people we meet on the plane puts me right off.
saying that, 14 euro for a pint and a glass of bacardi and , i wouldnt be there lol |

I have family on the outskirts as well, I guess I know which pubs to avoid with a bit of local knowledge! But you can expect to pay €6-8 per pint pretty much wherever you go centrally, ouch! |
