Kill a jack russell!?!
I literally JUST put clean covers on the kids beds, started Hoovering, and he came in from the garden, where he had rolled in mud (all over the back of his head and collar) , jumped on the bed and rolled around  fuming isn't the word....
Then, after i told him off he poked his head through the bannisters where I'd hung clean washing and got more mud over my work trousers 
Now he's hiding under a blanket in his bed because he doesn't want a bath 
Disclaimer:tongue in cheek post, I wouldn't really kill him, maybe just maim him |

Giving him a bath will be punishment and he will reward you by rolling in something that smells really bad.
My now dead cat used to come in with wet muddy paws, walk through the bathroom, kitchen, hallway and up some stairs, into the bedroom and all without leaving a single wet or muddy pawprint until she got to my newly made bed. |

You really have to blame the person that let the muddy dog back in the house...
My Staffy gets hosed off outside if he gets really muddy, he hates it, but will happily jump in water whilst out  |

Maybe she was dead and I hadn't noticed. Why did she choose to leave the wet muddy prints on my clean sheets though? |

our collies are the same, they have that sixth sense when i turn the hose on to wash them post walking (more like slipping and wading atm)..
whilst out they are in the puddles ditches and love a good stream for a swim..
show them the lets get clean water and its na, no ty..

our collies are the same, they have that sixth sense when i turn the hose on to wash them post walking (more like slipping and wading atm)..

They do make you wonder don't they, if I water the garden with the hose he throws himself of the hose trying to play with it, try and clean him and he's gone.
It's been raining here for the last four and a half hours and I'm not looking forward to walking him 
I have to put him on a lead when it's raining, because after whinging to be taken out, he'll go a 100 metres then bugger off back home  I turn around and I'm on my own, he does give up whinging afterwards though... |
