Why are some unable to state that they do not like a t.v. programme without adding that anyone who does like it is : _ dumb , brainless, a fuckwit , an idiot or brain dead.
Ivariabley the name callers are unable to offer a critique of the prog under discussion or even state one single reason for not favouring the programme.
Generally their statements go .: I hate it. It's rubbish, If you watch it your a moron.
I can't help it but each time I read similar I think ...... okay fucking Einstein .....What do clever people like you do to pass the lazing hours ?
So Fabby Forumites... What do eggheaded , Tefal brained , Gifted , Talented and all round fucking Geniuses like you watch ? |

I don't watch a lot but I don't want to watch the same programmes as those who insult other people for what they enjoy......I may end up with my head up my arse and thats got to be painful! |

I watch some TV, and miss some of the channels I had before moving into the wild where I can only get terrestrial. 
That said, I don't expect anyone to like the same things I like, whether TV or anything else, so it is a waste of everyone's time to criticise personal preferences. Live and let live, I say! |

To be honest I do keep my TV on in the background while I am online, and tend to watch stuff like Top Gear, 24 Hours in A&E and so on. If there's a series on I want to watch I usually iPlayer it or get it on DVD.
I don't watch TV enough to pay for Sky or Netflix and if anything is overhyped I'll probably be the last person to watch it.
As for TOWIE and its type, my daughter seems to enjoy it, so I guess it has its place. |

I'm guilty of this, though I tend to criticise the programmes and not the people. I think the glut of reality TV is an attempt to dumb down the nation.
I can't see the appeal of soaps either, but again it's the programmes themselves I dislike.
Although I aim negative comments at the shows themselves, usually, I suppose it could be argued that criticism of the regular _iewers is implied.
I don't watch much TV. What I do watch is escapism, far from reality. I like Atlantis, Dexter, Sleepy Hollow, Person of Interest, Bones, CSI, NCIS... that sort of thing. I also watch documentaries and sciency things.
I would have to be held at gunpoint to watch soaps, Britain's Got Pop Factor, Big Brother or any reality TV or Jeremy Vile. |

I'm alone in the day,I don't turn the TV on. In the evening if I'm left alone with the remote I will look for a film first, QI or something similar second, thirdly I will look on Sky Arts for something |

I love the likes of Big Brother and Eastenders.
To some, that means I'm an uneducated bafoon who reads a certain red top.
