Just read a funny article. mail online, three middle aged men talking about the oddballs  they have met on dating sites, saying how shocked they were that some of the women wanted sex and lied about how old they were.  but the comments people had left were even funnier. |

In the past I did Internet dating.
One man I met said he was late because he'd been helping his Mum arrange the church flowers!
Another, met for one coffee & told him after he wasn't for me. He then texted me for hours after saying I'd broken his heart ! After one flaming coffee  |

Thats normal,have people become so used to creating cyber relationships before real ones that we question good old fashioned meet people in the real world with no help from the internet? |

POF is FAB...............in my opinion! I could point to 4 people (ladies) on both sites! Nothing wrong with it just amuses me that on POF there is a category that says you cannot message someone if you have messaged others for an intimate encounter but then pop up on FAB! |

Here I was thinking that my awesomeness couldn't be translated merely through the medium of images and text, but I think you are closer.

My last social meet from here asked half way through coffee if I was now his girlfriend? First time in many years I've left half a cup of coffee behind! |

I (fem) did POF for a couple of years on and off. I can honestly say it was brilliant for me. Yes, you get the nutters but learn how to filter them out and spot them a mile off.
I had some fantastic dates and don't regret any if them as u made some great friends at the time.
I'm so glad i stayed on as thats where me and my fella met. No mention of sex at all! Turns out we are both as filthy minded as each other . But we are very much in love and we are getting married this year.  |

I was on internet dating i met a brilliant women seen her for 18 month i went to see her every other weekend and we was 200 miles apart and we are still friends now still chat |
