Yesterday after my workout i had to go and buy sum chicken and cheese..and sit in a nearby park and eat it..whats that all about..??..

I haven't had any cravings yet but I think the secret is planning ahead so that I have food ready before I get too peckish. My slow cooker has been on most days!

Leftovers from last nights chicken and veg casserole for lunch and just made a veggie chilli and boiled a big pan of brown rice for tea/other meals. I've got a hospital appointment this aft and this way I can help myself to a bowl and zap it in the microwave and food will be ready ten mins after I walk through the door.

I'm adding lots of pulses to as many meals as I can cos they keep you full for a long time and are good for you.

Perhaps your body is craving protein to feed your muscles.

The key is to breakthrough that plateau, to the point where you actually look forward to going.

Stick at it. The endorphin rush will soon supersede the listlessness and exhaustion. We've all been there.

Make sure you incorporate resistance training into your sessions, as well as cardio. Many women neglect this. Yes, you'll lose weight running on a treadmill, but you won't tighten or tone any muscle.

Indeed the endorphins make it all worth while..im not even doing a treadmill yet, i do a bike and all air assisted weight free machines that you can set, they are amazing for tone xx

Ah ok, not sure what you've been told already, but to lose weight it's best to keep your metabolism up, so eating little and often, obviously healthier the better. Every 3 hours you should try and have something, have a big breakfast, medium lunch and a small dinner. Have a snack like an apple or something inberween, Don't have carbs after about 6pm. If you can get the eating right it'll be easy, 90% of a nice toned body is in working in the kitchen. I wish I wasn't such a fussy f****r with food! But all the best and look forward to seeing a couple of pics later down then line

You sound like you're halfway, there ??

Free weights (dumbell's) are excellent, too.

Get someone to show you how to do a dead lift. This is a fantastic exercise which targets the whole posterior chain (basically all the major body parts that women are really bothered about). You won't get muscly you'll just burn fat AND tone up AND you'll still be burning fat long after you've finished. That is another major advantage of lifting weights.

Good luck.

What is resistance training? I don't go to the gym at the moment, every time I've took out membership I've only been twice so just trying to do this at home first. I am going jogging and doing sit ups, squats, ab crunches, lunges, stuff like that

Resistance training - using weights.

Don't forget the squats. Success lies in the compound exercises. Do your exercises in the right form and slowly. Feel it in the muscles and then will you see the changes.
