If you are talking a CRT monitor then I doubt it. I imagine the work much like old TVs and so have gases in them.

No you can't . But put it in anyway once it's in the bin lorry I doubt they will take it out and give back to you

No, old monitors can't go in the bin.

If taken to the local tip then they'll be stripped of all recyclable materials before disposal.
