Do you women like a compliment or does it put you off? I had few women who stoped chatting as soon as I gave them a compliment. I am always honest about what I say but may be its not a good thing to tell what you find attractive about her afterall! Or am I getting it all wrong and need to read a book or 2 about women's psychology? Lol  |

Depends, I guess. If you went over the top then they would think you're taking the piss. After all, men tend to be liberal with compliments when they sense an opening.   |

From someone here I would not take it seriously. It's politeness and expected as part of a chat up. I do like to compliment myself though which I suppose is hypocritical |

I don't take compliments very well for some reason, past crap from the ex I guess.
But if I give a compliment it is meant, I always give one where it is due.
I love making people feel good, but only if I know they like it, or if they are like me, I will leave it be and think it anyway.
