There is a chain of restaurants in the South US called the Cracked Barrel and it's basic traditional USA cuisine. All that grits, weird gravy and 'biscuits' shit. I made the mistake of going in once. I left an hour later 2 stone heavier and spoke with a Southern Drawl. Never again. *upside down thumb smiley* |

That would be Cracker Barrel, a feature of old fashioned country stores many decades ago. Crackers are small crisp flat breads. Hominy grits are popular in the southern usa but not the north.

That would be Cracker Barrel. Crackers are small crisp flat breads. Hominy grits are popular in the south but not the north. We have one here in the city but I've never eaten there so I don't know if it's any good or not.
