Might actually be good for you.
According to Napper we have evolved through time under filthy conditions and that probably our desire for better hygiene and sterile surroundings isn’t doing much good to our immune system. In his opinion picking our nose and eating the stuff we find in there, could actually have a positive side for our health.
The professor explains that the pathogens which are found within the mucus in our snot could actually help our immune system in order to show it what’s the true nature of our surroundings. |

Walked past a fried chicken shop the other day and the guy at the front desk was picking his nose.
Will not be eating there any time soon
