Think its commendable that your attempting to raise awareness of STD testing etc.. but to be honest if as a couple your active in the scene but only getting tested once a year i think you need to re think things
if you got tested in DEC (results all clear) played with 'A' in January and caught something you could then be potentially passing it on to the people B C D E F G H etc.. all the way up to your 'routine' test in DEC. Not only damaging yourself but potentially infecting others along the way.. the longer you go without being tested and more partners you have in that time means it might be difficult to remember who you've come into contact with should you catch something and do the responsible thing by trying to inform people of your situation of 'I caught something,, you might wanna get yourself checked out'
If your playing with small numbers i guess its easier to remember and perhaps you can go longer between testing. But if your having fun with high volumes of people id get tested more frequently |

think its an individual thing
should be a correlation between frequency of meets and how many meets
if the numbers of meets are high in not very a long time period then more testing is required
if your meeting 3 times in a year then yeah id probs say once a year is ok.
There is no guarentee that even using condoms is safe as oral sex is often just as risky.
Just because you might not play a lot a person you have played with might. If you passed on an STD to a person early on in the year (after your all clear) and are waiting a long time to re test that person might have since gone onto affect another 20 people..
its all swings n roundabouts.. just depends how paranoid you are about testing |

First Wednesday of the month , every month .
It's a free service offered at the Lodge in Gloucester on the social night .
Only takes 10 minutes including bloods , perfect !

I was pretty much celibate for 18 months until I joined FAB. I was last tested in Sept when I had a smear due to bleeding after sex and the previous problems I had.
I was told every 6 months but I'm due on Thurs and will be going every 3 months as that seems the norm. |

Even though swinging for me is always safe sex with condoms, I get tested monthly ... just in case. Probably paranoid, but I've never had an std, ever ... yet  |
