I've just had a polite rejection and I wished them luck on their quest.

No hassle and the word thank you was used

Hear hear to that, OP!

It's the decent folk I encounter on here that make putting up with the ignorant ones worthwhile.

Make love not war.

If someone takes the time to write a nice polite message , then i will always reply in a nice way.......Wont reply to those who totally ignore my profile (when it was there) and wont reply to one liners.....

But apart from that, always polite

Oh and admin..........can we have an edit button please

Nice - but not necessarily how it should be!

I'll always reserve the right to ignore should I see fit and respect the right of others to do exactly the same should they choose!

I'd like to believe I handled my recent rejection with grace too, as I appreciate I am not everyone's cup of tea, and am just another single woman in a pool of many.

I've no issue with being ignored. There's various reasons why this can happen, and it's the other person's prerogative. I respect that.

Rudeness I've no time for.

Politeness I value and appreciate.

Titz Towers, North Notts

That's pretty damn good. It's when you get a message back trying to show that you're being irrational that you

"Manners cost nothing "

This.

If I ever message someone and they reply and its a rejection I always message back and thank them for taking the time to reply and let me know, or if someone messages me and I reject for what ever reason I do so in a polite manor. No need for this fuss people make when they get rejected, its pointless... Just move on.
