Adopt a newbie

There's a thread on befriending someone, ie. sending a friend request, but...
what about adopting a newbie, who's up for adoption?
This isn't a sex game, but perhaps a way of taking someone under your wing, whatever your genders are. It might alleviate some of the messages in forums, asking what to do with their profile, or people feeling a bit of an outsider etc. If it's someone that's local, they could perhaps go along to clubs with you, which can be daunting for first timers, no limits really. No-one would be forced to adopt or be adopted, or mentored, it could be entirely voluntary.

Such a nice idea I remember a few weeks back when I signed up I was a little daunted and didn't really know how to get noticed... I still haven't been to a sex party or club yet and I don't think I could on my own I'd be too overwhelmed I think x |

The most important step on here is getting your first veri that says you are you you say you are...so I'd happily meet newbies in my area. If they turn up good for them, if not well tough, no second chance. |

Will the adoption have to go through social services and do the adopters have to get CRB checked and all that malarkey. Not that I want to be an adopter. I want to be an adoptee. |

I don't agree. Mine would be profile wording/messaging/photo advice and general stuff. Besides which, I'm bi so can get away with it |

I'd never met anyone before the Kent social. Only spoke to Lucy once on the phone. And then banter on here and via pm. I was totally terrified!! Lol. Few people spent the best part of the fortnight before talking me out of not going!! Haha... |

Glad there is some positive feedback to this. Obviously the better looking newbies could all get swamped, whilst the rest could be left on the shelf, which would defeat the purpose of the idea.
I haven't thought through the practicalities, but I'd love to help others, and often give advice on profiles, help if people have spelling issues (can't say that mine's the best, but sometimes 2 heads is better than 1) and other stuff. |

The Kent social was amazing , I only knew I think 4 people before I went. It's made it so much easier to go on to other socials and keep meeting the mad lot that make up the forums. |

We love introducing new couples & going with them to a party/club for the 1st time & answering all the questions we had as first timers.
On our 1st visit to AbFabs, we spent most of the evening with a single lady in her 60's that took us under her wing & explained everything to us - it was wonderful & gave us the confidence to explore our boundaries together.

fishnet tights if you want those.
